Xtreme Spec Racing (XSR) – Event Information
- Event Schedule - Provided at Event
- Helmet Requirement – All drivers are required to wear a properly fitted and secured helmet while on track. Helmets must be approved by Snell and carry a sticker of Snell SA2015, EA2016, or newer*. Ratings other than that of “SA” (Special Application), (e.g. M2015, M2020, or CMR2007), are not acceptable. *Alternatively, helmets with an FIA certification of FIA 8860-2010, FIA 8859-2015 or newer are acceptable. It is strongly recommended that any helmet sustaining any substantial impact be replaced.
- Practice Session – There will be Open Practice on Friday - see front gate for regristration.
- Approved Tires –
- Dry conditions: Nankang AR-1 or Hoosier R7.
- Wet conditions: Hoosier W3 (spec rain tire).
- Series Decals – Provided at the event and must be applied as required before the first Race
- Waivers – All participants must sign event waivers upon arrival. No driver will be allowed on track without a signed waiver.
- Transponder Requirement – Each driver must provide their own AMB transponder for timing and scoring. Transponders may not be available for rent at the event. Ensure your transponder is properly charged/wired correctly and mounted before every session.
- Mandatory Onboard Camera – Each car must be equipped with a securely mounted, forward-facing camera. Video footage may be reviewed by race officials in the event of an on-track incident. A rear-facing camera is recommended but not required.
- Driver Meetings – Attendance at the mandatory drivers' meeting before each race day is required. Meeting times will be posted at the event. Failure to attend may result in penalties.
- Tech Inspection – All cars must pass pre-event safety inspection before being allowed on track. Post-session compliance checks may be conducted at Parc Fermé.
- Rulebook Access – The official rulebook is available at xtremesr.com. All drivers are responsible for understanding and complying with the regulations.

Helmet (SFI Spec 31.1):
- Must be flame-resistant.
- Should meet or exceed the SFI 31.1 standard for motorsports helmets.

Head & Neck Restraints (SFI Spec 38.1):
- Designed to reduce head and neck injuries.
- Must comply with SFI 38.1 standards.

Fire Suit (SFI Spec 3.2A):
- Available in different ratings (e.g., 3.2A/1, 3.2A/5, 3.2A/10).
- Provides varying levels of thermal protection.

SFI Gloves (SFI Spec 3.3):
- Flame-resistant gloves.
- Must meet SFI 3.3 standards for protection and durability.

SFI Underwear (SFI Spec 3.3):
- Includes balaclava, long-sleeved top, long pants, and socks.
- Must be flame-resistant and comply with SFI 3.3 standards.

Wrist Restraints (SFI Spec 3.3):
- Designed to keep arms within the vehicle during a crash.
- Must meet SFI 3.3 standards.

SFI Shoes (SFI Spec 3.3):
- Flame-resistant footwear.
- Must comply with SFI 3.3 standards for motorsports shoes.
These specifications ensure that the gear provides adequate protection and meets the safety standards set by the SFI Foundation
