Featuring "BIG BORE BASH" & "Pursuit Race"
WHRRI is pleased to announce the return of our "BIG BORE BASH" Entrants will get and additional 12 lap race. This will be our last race of the day on Saturday, featuring our "Ground Pounders" who will be battling it out for top honors, prizes, and bragging rights. This is a "fun" race and not eligible for points or track records. Grid position will be from the morning Qualifing Session. Sign up is an additional $25 and is limited to 30 entries in the following Race Car Classes only: AS, ASx, T1, T2, GT1, GT2, GT3, GTA, ITE, ITR, STU, SP, and SC.
Waterford Pursuit Race
Entry Fee $25
Starting Position
- Determined by fastest time of 2023 by the end of Race weekend #5
- If no time is obtained by end of Race weekend #5 participant will start last
- Field will be inverted with the slowest time starting 1st to the fastest starting last
- Cars that run multiple classes will be gridded by fastest time in the fastest trim
Start
- Field will be started single file with a car length between each car
- Car cannot accelerate or make a move to pass before passing start finish Line
- Spotter will be at start finish to call out any car in violation of this rule
- Participant will be black flagged if not in compliance
- A cone will be at start finish and one a car length before to define “car length”
- Start will be waved off if field is not in position when the 1st car reaches the exit of swamp turn
Finish
- Winner will be whomever crosses the finish line 1st at the end of 15 laps or 30 minutes
You MUST have a valid Competition Racing License to compete at Waterford Hills.
We accept the following valid Licenses only: WHRRI, SCCA, NASA, Midwest Council

Registration for drivers & crew is located in "The Press Room" on the second level of the tower and will be open during the following times: Friday: 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM Sunday: 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM (with prior arrangement with Registrar) Crew and/or Guests of a driver may enter the paddock during the following hours if they present a current WHRRI Photo ID or prepaid guest entry pass, Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Technical inspection will be open during the following times: Friday: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Sunday: 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM 4. The official scales are located at the tech/impound area and may be available for competitor's use upon request. Cars shall be pushed, not driven, onto scales.

To be eligible for WHRRI Championship Points you must (1) Be a member of The Oakland County Sportsmen's Club. (2) Be a member of Waterford Hills. (3) Hold a valid WHRRI Competition License. Please bring your Helmet and Log Book to "Express Tech" in the TECH AREA. You are eligible for"Express Tech" if you have a valid Helmet sticker and Annual Tech date ONLY!! otherwise you will have to wait for the scrutineer to TECH your car.
Event requirements
EARLY REGISTRATION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL Thursday, September 21st, 2023 6PM. If you do not register before this deadline your reserved paddock space will no longer be reserved. It will be available to any entrant as of 9am Friday. YOU WILL BE CHARGED A LATE FEE OF $25 if you register after the deadline.
ONE day and TWO day racing options are available.
CASH OR CHECK AS PAYMENT IS APPRECIATED AT A DISCOUNTED RATE. ALL CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS WILL BE ASSESSED A 5% FEE. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
