The Washington DC Region of SCCA invites you to attend our Novice Flagging & Communications School, March 15 & 16 at Summit Point Motorsports Park. Please note: This is in concert with our Racing School for Competition License event.
Entry Fee: FREE!
Join us for the Novice Flag School during the Racing School for Competition License at Summit Point, to learn how to become part of this exciting world of racing. Be close to the action and see how the Flagging & Communication workers are at the center of the track activities. No prior experience necessary, we will train you so that you have everything you need to become part of the team.

Event requirements
Things to know:
1) Meet at the base of the tower at 7:30 am Saturday. Please arrive at Summit Point earlier to allow time to check in at SCCA registration and get settled.
2) First half of Saturday is classroom, second half visit different corners. On Sunday you will be paired with an experienced team for hands-on blue and yellow flagging, and radio communications.

4) You must be a member of SCCA - OR - a Weekend SCCA membership is included if you are not already a member. Please check the appropriate box on this registration form.
5) Please visit wdcrsccacr.speedwaiver.com to execute the event waiver. If you are already a member of SCCA and have a 2025 Anual Hard-Card Waiver, you do not need to use the electronic SpeedWaiver. All others must use the waiver (link above in # 5).
6) Please wear as much white as possible, and do not wear any red or yellow clothing.
