Race Officials Event Sign Up - Columbia River Classic
THIS IS A 2-DAY EVENT.
September 6-7, 2025
We are excited to announce the Race Officials Event Sign-Up for the Columbia River Classic (CRC) in Portland, Oregon! This is a 2-day event, and we will be racing all three days—September 6 and 7, 2025.
There are many areas to volunteer your time. Membership is not required in SOVREN, and no experience is necessary—we will gladly train you.
Why sign up before the event?
- You help the organizers plan meals (lYes, you will get a lunch each day and after racing beverages each evening and Dinner on Saturday).
- It helps the Specialty Chiefs plan assignments and postitions.
- If your not sure where you want to help check the "other" box. We will help you find a place you enjoy and are comfortable.
- You can come back anytime before the event and add or change days / specialties. (To make an update you may need to "clear selection" to change your selections.)
DETAILS
- All participants need to check in at Registration at the track.
- At Track Registration opens at 7AM each morning (Saturday/Sunday) for Volunters/Officiials
- Workers Meeting (Officials/Volunteers) is 8AM at Portland International Raceway, in front of the Rose Cup room (Base of Goodyear Tower) Ask at registration if you are new or not sure where to go.

No requirements. Just sign up for an account and join the fun.
There is a brief training session for Flaggers (Marshalls) at 7:30am each event day by the Flag Chief. Training is located in the morning meeting area.
