This Autocross Novice School is geared towards novices to get some one-on-one coaching and a lot of seat-time to get their driving skills up to speed. If you have less than 10 events under your belt, this is for you!
During the morning, all students will take runs on an autocross course with key elements strung together un-timed, to work on technique and focus on driving. Afternoon runs will be timed to gauge progress, with a more advanced course being prepared over lunch.
The event is currently limited to 24 students with additional entries added to a wait list. In the event of cancellations or additional coaches being available, people in the waiting list will be notified. We are committed to provide the best novice coaching we can and will limit each coach to 2 students. Pending coach availability, up to 24 students may be accepted... this is limited to give everybody as many runs as possible.
Coaches: Coaches are club members who have a number of autocross seasons under their belt, understand concepts of car control and autocross driving, and have a passion for helping the next generation of drivers get up to speed! Coaches will get to join us for lunch, have a driving session at the end of the day, and receive $10 off their entry to Points Event #2 the following day. All coaches will be approved by the VP of Operations.
Novice School Entry includes a lunch provded by TSCC.
