About this event
SCCA Starting Line will be conducting a ProLaunch School at Crows Landing in Crows Landing, CA on Friday, April 28th in conjunction with the SCCA's Tire Rack Crows Landing ProSolo. This educational program is designed to help students better understand how the SCCA's ProSolo events run. It will also give participants an excellent opportunity to learn how the “drag race” start works with an instructor by their side. Please keep in mind that this is not your typical Driving School, as the actual driving is limited to practice starts only. The Starting Line ProLaunch School will cover the following:
- The Drivers Information Center
- Grid Sheets / Grid A & Grid B / Grid Order
- Staging Lanes
- Burnout Box
- Different Styles of Staging Cars
- Impound
- Qualifying for Challenge Competition
- Practice Starts (Minimum of 12 starts)
- Launch techniques
