SCCA Starting Line will be hosting a Starting Line Driver's Edge experience at the Lincoln Airpark in Lincoln, NE in conjunction with SCCA's Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships. This week-long experience is geared toward those new to Solo Nationals. The SCCA Starting Line Driver’s Edge uses a team of successful autocross veterans who remember what it was like the first few times they pulled up to the starting line to make a run on the big stage of national-level competition.
In short, you’ll be given the tools and an explanation of the ins and outs of the Tire Rack Solo Nationals, arming you with the information to conquer the event without the intimidation factor that comes from doing something new. Our coaches will walk you through the event information page, talk about run/work assignments, teach you how the grid works, what to do at impound, and the information available to you at the driver’s information center. They will help you find the information center, Lincoln Driver's Center, and the BFT and what that even means :) And if you didn't know that Solo Nats is more than just a week of competition, we will help you navigate the party that is also Nats so you can enjoy your first experience at Nationals and understand why people return year after year for the fun.
Most importantly, our championship-level coaches will help you throughout the weekend, checking in to help answer any questions that come up and providing support and encouragement along the way. Think of them as your big brother or big sister for the weekend!
There is NO CHARGE to take part in the Starting Line Driver's Edge experience. If you are a driver that is new to Solo Nationals, we encourage you to sign up and take part!

In the works, but will cover the entire week of Nationals. If you run on tuesday/wednesday, the first huddle will take place on monday and if you run on thursday/friday, the first huddle will take place on wednesday. You will receive an email with the specific info, so please keep an eye out for that.

We are offering Starting Line Driver's Edge at no cost to participants. As space is limited, if you need to cancel for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can open registration for anyone on the waitlist.
SCCA Starting Line has the right to refuse entry or remove a student from a class for any reason deemed necessary to maintain a safe environment. Those removed will receive no refund.
