Speedy Goat Time Trials @ Mission Raceway Park

Mission Raceway

About this event

Doing sportscar things with sportscar friends

Join us on Sunday Feb 23rd, 2025 for a Time Trials track day at Mission Raceway Park

Gates open at 7:00am with on-track activities from 8:45am - 4:00pm.

Time Trials events are open to both new and experienced drivers looking to join a community, improve their driving, learn safe track etiquette, and have a fun day. Compared to a Lapping or HPDE event, Time Trials limits each track session to 3 full hot-laps and offers an increased number of sessions per day. This format reduces the peak temperatures your car sees and reduces overall costs.

Instruction will be provided to the novice group in either a lead-follow format or in-vehicle instruction. This will allow you to safely become acclimatized to the track. In order to focus on instruction and learning the track, the novice group will not be timed for their first event.

Entry Fee

  • 180

*Did someone say prize money? An amount from each timed driver will be allocated towards class prizes, but theres a fun twist.  Register & read-on to find out more

*A timing transponder is required for timed run groups. A transponder is offered to drivers at our cost of $25+gst

*No refunds within one month of the event date. All refunds are subject to a mandatory 20% cancellation fee

Additional Notes:
1) A valid BC, Alberta, or Washington drivers license is required. No additional licenses are required.
2) Vehicle numbers are required.
3) All registrations must be accompanied by electronic payment.
4) Your entry fee does not include lunch.
5) Registrants will be responsible for their own track clean-ups, vehicle tow fees, track or transponder damage, or any associated fees billed to SGMC.
6) Feel free to ask any questions you may have by emailing the event registrar.

Event requirements

Prizes:

Prize allocations will be announced Dec 20th, 2024

Classes:

We will be utilizing the SCCA Tuner class to sort vehicles into 5 vehicle classes.

If you fall within Sport or Tuner modifications, you will be sorted into one of the 5 Tuner classes based on your car. If your car would normally fall within "Max" level modifications, you will be initially placed in the respective Max class for your car and then be bumped up one class to give the equivalent Tuner class. Any vehicles that fall within the "Unlimited" category will be placed in Tuner 1 (until someone ruins it for everyone and the rules will then updated, but until then, this is what we will run).

Example 1:
Stock 2009 BMW 128i
Modifications: None
Base Tuner class: Tuner 4
Final Class: Tuner 4

Example 2:
Stock 2009 BMW 128i
