Welcome to
Summit Point Open Practice
is open to competition licensed drivers with competition prepared cars
seeking additional seat time for driver improvement, to hone their skills and shake down their cars prior to race day
Open Practice is non-timed, non-competition track time
This event precedes SCCA race weekends
Entry Fee
Pre-registration:
Full-Day $330 per
Half-Day $280 per-afternoon only
Additional driver, vehicle $160 each
*MINOR drivers 14-17 must have parent or guardian present
Pre-registration is highly recommended for efficiency at check-in and will be checked-in first
On-site day of Registration:
Full-Day: $335 per
Half-Day: $285 per - afternoon only
Registration fee includes state and local taxes, bank processing fees will be added at checkout.
You must cancel your registration through your registration account.
No refunds or credits
will be issued for cancelations made within 5 days of the event date.
Event requirements
Competition Licensed Drivers:
- Must have a valid competition license from one of the following sanctioning bodies:
FIA, IMSA, SCCA, VRG, BMWCCA, EMRA, NASA, PCA, and SVRA.
*MINOR drivers 14-17 must have a parent or guardian present with them and sign a minor waiver
- Driver safety gear must meet registered corresponding sanctioning body specifications and be utilized
**Including but not limited to: helmets, neck restraints, fire suit, gloves, shoes
Competition Prepared Cars:
- Must meet registered corresponding sanctioning body specifications
- Electric Vehicles (EVs)
- Electric vehicles (EVs) are prohibited from operating on any Summit Point Motorsports Park track without prior written approval from SPMP management.
- Exceptions that will be taken under consideration for approval are Hybrid and Purpose-built competition vehicles.
- EVs are permitted on access roads and in paddocks but are strictly prohibited from track use.
- EV charging is NOT supported by the SPMP Infrastructure; charging from all SPMP outlets is prohibited.
- The User is responsible for ensuring adherence to and enforcement of this policy and liable for all damages that should result to SPMP for non-compliance.
- Strict compliance is required to maintain the safety and integrity of ongoing SPMP operations.
- Electric vehicles (EVs) are prohibited from operating on any Summit Point Motorsports Park track without prior written approval from SPMP management.

It is the responsibility of the participant to assure safe mechanical condition of the vehicle and SELF tech compliance at all times.
