Event requirements
All vehicles will be required to pass a technical inspection prior to running the event. Please see the rules/guide section for full details here:
Overview of requirements:
Helmets (Snell M2010 or SA2010 minimum, No DOT only)
Open top cars must be equipped with a roll bar that is of sufficient height so that the top of the driver’s helmet sits below the line from the top of the roll bar to the top of the windshield. It must also be of sufficiently safe construction with multi point bracing. Some OEM roll protection may NOT be sufficient. Please reach out to organizers if you are unsure about it. Arm restraints are suggested for open top cars while the top is down, but not required. A hard top may be installed to convertibles which eliminate the requirement for these restrictions.
Please be aware that regular auto insurance policies do not cover damage to your vehicle while participating in motorsports events. Drivers are responsible for removing damaged vehicles from the track/course, and for repairing any damage to said vehicle. Drivers have the option to purchase off-track/autocross insurance through unaffiliated companies such as Lockton Motorsports (https://locktonmotorsports.com/product/off-track-insurance).
*Event requirements*
Please keep these requirements in mind during your participation. Failure to follow will result in your asking to leave without refund. These are the rules of the track and insurance requirements
-All drivers must have a valid driver’s license. If under 18, must have guardian release filled out and guardian must be present for the duration of the event. Please see the autocross guide/rules for more info.
-All persons entering must sign several waivers: Track waiver and Club Insurance Waiver waiver. Once waivers are signed, you will receive a wristband from the track. Yellow wristbands are for track waivers, and must be worn all event. If you lose your wristband, you must resign all paperwork. No exceptions. Waiver will be checked throughout the day and on each of your runs - so please wear on the appropriate wrist.
-Track Management has final say as it pertains to the event and their property. Any questions can be raised with SCCV staff (volunteers, chairs, or board members) - if we don't have an answer, we'll try to get one for you or point you in the right direction. If you're unsure of something, please ask!
-ALL VEHICLES must pass technical requirements. If they don't, don't be mad at us. Fix the failure if you can and try again. We strongly suggest you check everything over on your car before showing up. Full info on requirements can be found in the autocross guide/rules
