Hello SASC Members! The SASC AGM will be held on Sunday, November 24th, 2024, 2:00-5:00 pm.
Location: CSCC Club House 4215 80 Ave NE, Calgary
With 84 club members this year, we require a minimum 20% representation at the AGM per club bylaws (so 17 members attending or by proxy). Your attendance is very much appreciated and helps shape the club for the future. The existing meeting minutes from the 2023 AGM will be posted on the SASC Forum prior to the meeting.
The agenda will be as follows:
- 2:00-2:10pm - Welcome & Snacks
- 2:10-2:25pm - Presidents Report (Sean)
- 2:25-2:40pm - Solo 2 Report (Bob)
- 2:40-2:55pm - Financial Statement (Patrick)
- 2:55-3:15pm - Other Business (see below)
- 3:15-3:30pm - Break
- 3:30-3:45pm - Election of Executives & Appointment of Volunteer Positions (Sean & Bob)
- 3:45-4:15pm - Club Championship Awards (Sean, Bob, Patrick, Scott)
- 4:20-5:00pm - Q&A (Sean, Bob, Patrick, Scott)
Light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.
Other Business - there will be one non-binding motion raised during the AGM to allow the membership input on decisions required for the 2025 season:
- The continuation of the cone hauling reimbursement program.

I would also like to encourage others to get involved with the club in either an executive capacity or steward capacity. The official positions are as follows:

Safety / Sound Steward
Equipment Steward
Novice Steward
Grid / Workers Steward
Registration / Waivers Steward
There are also other folks who don’t hold an official position but are instrumental to the success of this club so getting involved is easy if you’re looking to do so in a more informal way.
