RACE WINNER PRIZE: $100 iRacing Dollars
A two-week special event to honor the history of ROUSH success as well as offering a glimpse into the future of racing. Competing first in the 1987 NASCAR Ford Thunderbird & Chevrolet Monte Carlo, competitors will race 75-laps at Rockingham - the site of the very first ROUSH NASCAR win. The week following, all competitors will try their chances in the brand new NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen cars at the fast two-mile track in ROUSH's own backyard, Michigan International Speedway.
January 12th - Rockingham, 1/12 (75-Laps)
January 19th - Michigan Int Speedway, 1/19 (50-laps)
Races will be on Wednesday evenings, green flag at 8:30PM ET
Both races will have a live stream broadcast available on various ROUSH social channels with full commentary. Administrative Race Control consisting of a panel of sim & real world drivers will be utilized.
Please note that we are limiting the grid to 40-entrants. Applicants will be selected by ROUSH Performance’s sole discretion based on various considerations and previous attendance.
2-Races: Rockingham (1/12) & Michigan (1/19)
All races will be held using the iRacing simulator and every competitor will use the 1987 NASCAR cars (1987 Ford Thunderbird or 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo) at Rockingham. Every competitor will use the NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen cars (Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota) at Michigan. Setups will be OPEN.
Practice sessions will be held the Tuesday prior to the race event for registered participants.
