ProCup Karting Race School 201

Fantastic next step beyond the Intro to Karting school and indoor karting. Advanced kart control techniques, passing, drafting, and custom coaching are found in this school. Many drivers have skipped this school and gone to race only to come back to find those missing seconds or mere tenths. The school begins with traditional instruction and then includes sprint races and an enduro with a teammate all with feedback from instructors on improving line and racecraft. The curriculum is fluid and customized to the student so each time he or she returns, the student will strengthen in all areas.

Schedule:

Start with kart exercises

Qualify and 3 15 min sprint races with coaching and feedback.

1 Hour Enduro with a teammate and coach feedback

 

2 Hours of Track Time

Pricing: $399 for individual. $700 for 2.

 

Requirements:

12+ Years Old with exceptions made based on experience 
(Drivers 8-14 years old are usually best to participate in the Rookie School or the Youth Racing School)
4’ 10” or taller 
Completion of Intro to Karting School or similar racing program from outside ProCup (Subject to Review) 
or 
Some experience racing karts and ability to process and apply feedback.

Who is eligible to take the Race School? The Race School is for participants who have already attended one of our regular race schools and is looking for seat time with instructor feed back. Also eligible for the Race School are participants who have racing experience already and have a basic foundation in place for find the racing line, understands basic racing terminology and has enough track time either in a kart or race car, that basic skill sets are mostly automatic. How does the School Differ from the Intro to Racing School? The Race School will not cover the basics of driving/karting, that will have already been covered in the basic school. It will focus more on application of techniques in races. The student ration is kept 4 students for 1 instructor. Minimum seat time per student is 2 Hours. Instructors will work specifically with racecraft, breaking/lifting spots, weight transfer, finding speed in specific areas a participant may be struggling, etc. If there are two in my group, can one of us take the regular school and one of take the advanced school? Absolutely. We will even honor the group pricing of 2+ for each school price level. What is the cost for the Race School? Single entries are $399.00 Groups of 2+ are $349.00 each
