Join your fellow PNWR members for a scenic drive north through Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties on SR9. After a brief break-stop in Welcome, we'll continue eastward on SR542 to Artist Point. Linger at the summit admiring the stunning views of Mt Shuksan and Mt. Baker or take a short hike on one of the various trails along the ridges for more photographic opportunities.
After our sightseeing break, we'll make our way down SR542 approx. 13 miles to Glacier for lunch between 12:45 - 3:00 pm at Milano's Restaurant (360-599-2863) for some Italian fare. Milano's will be open only for us and will have a special PTL from which you can order entrees and desserts (NOTE - new Porsche acronym: PTL = Porsche-Themed-Lunch!). At the conclusion of lunch, you're free to make your way home south via SR9/I-5 or drive to Bellingham and take the beautiful SR11 (Chuckanut Dr) to Skagit County and more backroads southbound.
Note that we need to keep the group logistics and lunch service manageable so we will limit the total number of *participants* to 60 for this tour. Attention - that is 60 people, not cars so register early and make sure to include your passenger's name or names (hey - we love having 4-door Porsches on our tours!). Extra staff will be available at Milano's to ensure prompt luncheon service with our groups.
The tour starts at the Hobby Lobby parking lot just off I-5 at the Hwy 531 exit. Exit onto Hwy 531/172nd St NE and head west. Turn right at the first exit off the traffic circle and then first right again around Hobby Lobby to the parking lot. Arrive at 8AM to sign waivers, mix, and mingle then everyone attends the participants' meeting at 8:30 with the first group out at 9:00 am. During registration please select either Spirited or Moderate preferred driving style. Please note that Spirited DOES NOT mean driving at a high rate of speed!

Tour Requirements:
- Cancellations and refunds: Cancellations accepted until Tuesday, Jul 16th. There are no advanced payments required for this tour.
- Car club membership: To participate, you must be a member of the PCA and also hopefully PNWR. Porsche owners who are not members may register and receive a special invitation on a case-by-case basis from the tour leader, Gary Barklind..
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Non-Porsches are only allowed on a case-by-case basis under extenuating circumstances (car in the shop, awaiting delivery of a Porsche, etc)

For Adult participants and attendees: All drivers and passengers must sign the Waiver Release Form, which will be provided at the tour starting point. There is no need to download, print and sign the form in advance.
- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable. For participants under 18 years old, the parent/legal guardian must sign an additional waiver. The parent/legal guardina must be present to sign the waiver form or the signed form must be notarized in advance.
- Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour each car and driver should register with a separate Motorsportreg account.
