PCASDR is excited to announce a tour of Petersen Automotive Museum on Sunday October 16, where we'll see special visiting exhibits "Bond in Motion," the Official Collection of Original James Bond 007 Vehicles, Andy Warhol "CARS"- Works from the Mercedes-Benz Art Collection, "Hypercars 2: The Allure of the Extreme", "Cars of Film and Television," and much more, including a special VIP tour of The Vault!
If you have never visited the Petersen, you owe it to yourself to experience this one-of-a-kind automotive museum! Even if you have visited in the past, you have not seen the current visiting exhibits, and the contents of the Vault are ever-changing.
Participants will have the option of joining us at three locations:
1) as part of the PECLA 10/16 Convoy, leaving from Carlsbad Premium Outlets at 7:15 AM sharp;
2) at PECLA, departing for Petersen at 11:15AM sharp;
3) at Petersen Automotive Museum, convening between 12:30 and 12:45, tour begins at 1pm.
Those who choose option 1 or 2 may purchase Breakfast in the Speedster Café at PECLA (opens 7:30AM) before we depart at 11:15; those select option 3 should keep in mind that no food will be available at the Petersen while we are visiting.
We will be in the museum for several hours, enjoying the visiting exhibits and the special automotive gems in the much-vaunted VAULT. You may depart for home whenever you wish, or join us for a late lunch/early dinner at a nearby location TBD.
Event requirements
If you are choosing Option 1 (meet at Carlsbad Premium Outlets) or Option 2 (meet at PECLA), you must sign the SpeedWaiver. If you are choosing Option 3 (meet at Petersen), you do not have to complete the waiver.
