We have a fabulous event planned for you to include a scenic cruise around Coronado and lunch!
Joining us for lunch will be our very own Margie Smith-Haas and guest Michelle Kuek, an active member of Porsche Club Singapore Motorsports Team, who is visiting us!
As we celebrate “Women’s History Month”, one of our local legends and 52-year PCA member Margie Smith-Haas has been highlighted by Grand Touring GT Motorsport in Volume 33 of their Grand Touring magazine. Her racing career began with PCA club events and took her all the way to becoming the first American woman to race the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1984.Margie is a trailblazer for women in motor sport racing as the only woman of 66 drivers to race for Dan Gurney’s professional team. In the early 90s she also became the first woman in North America to win a professional road racing championship.
Cruise details will be provided, we plan to meet at 8:45am at Shelter Island, with a nice cruise to Coronado, and up to BouijieMana.
