Please join the PCA-SAR Escape to Douglas and the John Slaughter Ranch (overnight tour).
Limited to 20 x Porsches & 20 x Hotel rooms. You can bring as many people that fit into your hotel room and Porsche. Also, you can drive a non Porsche if you prefer.
Update: It is a really nice drive, but the last 10 miles are gravel. It is a well maintained road, fine gravel, and smooth, but still gravel. Kurt drove his Boxster and it was fine. If you don't want to bring Porsche please sign up and drive your SUV or any make or model of car. The museum and ranch are really worth a visit. The lake is full, and the picnic spots next to the lake are in the shade. After we finish the ranch we will drive back to the hotel, and hang out before dinner, or go to the art car museum. Details about meals, activities, and tour departure time/location will be emailed to registered participants.
Updated information: The start will be at the Roadrunner Market 16121 S. Houghton Rd. Vail AZ. 85641 on April 9, 2022. Gas is available at the market. The drive over will be about three hours, leaving at 9:00 am with a drivers meeting at 8:30. By now all should have a reservation at the Best Western in Douglas. We will have a picnic lunch (you must pack/bring), tour the museum, and wildlife refuge.
A group reservation for dinner, and breakfast is included at the hotel.
After registering here please make your hotel registration at the Best Western. All SAR rooms are kings, with a discounted rate of $117.00. This included breakfast. When registering please ask for the Porsche SAR rate for this date. The hotel phone number is 520-364-5000.
