Palmer Motorsports Park with NEQ
Saturday and Sunday, August 25 & 26 - All abilities Driver Education
Friday, August 24 - Advanced/Solo/Instructor afternoon (1-5 PM)
Here's how it works:
This is an all abilities High Performance Driver Education event with a bonus half day for advanced/solo/instructors. The Friday half day will be only available to those attending the weekend event. When you sign up for the weekend event, you will be given the Friday option.
Join us as we return to this rollercoaster of a track situated in south central Massachusetts on August 25 & 26. This will be a two day event with the usual mix of classroom and track time. All abilities are welcome. First timer? No problem; you'll have plenty of company! Come learn some real world car control!
Cost is $575 per student for the weekend HPDE days.
The Friday advanced solo day runs 1PM to 5 PM at a cost of $195 per person (students and instructors). Students and instructors signing up for the weekend event will get priority for places on the Friday Advanced Solo day.
Also, please join us for a banquet on Saturday night at the Salem Cross Inn.
Don't own an Audi? All makes and models of vehicle that conform to the ACNA Vehicle Requirements are welcome. All participants must be members of the Audi Club of North America (ACNA). Sitting on Whiskey Hill 7 miles off the Mass Turnpike is Palmer Motorsports Park, the
first private road racing course in Massachusetts. Designed for driver training, vehicle
testing and motorsports, Palmer Motorsports Park offers the ultimate pavement to
pursue your passion for racing and speed.
PMP Whiskey Hill Raceway: 2.3 miles long, 40-feet wide, over 190 feet of elevation.
Designed by grassroot racers and professional track designers and carved out of
Whiskey Hill granite, (courtesy of J Read Corporation ) the road course is a
15-turn rollercoaster ride around a scenic and secluded alpine wilderness.
Registration and Tech inspection will take place at the track on Friday from 11-12:30 (for the Advanced Solo day), and on Friday evening, from 4-6pm (for the weekend event). While these are the preferred options, Tech will also be open Saturday morning at the track but timing will be critical, so come Friday, relax, check out the other cars and meet your fellow drivers. |

Hotels - There is no official base hotel for this event but there are many options including two that have offered the club reduced prices for the event. Be aware there are limited room numbers at these facilities so, book early.
Trainmaster’s Inn – In the center of Palmer, about 10 minutes from the track. Just quote NEQ Audi Club for the special rate of $120 per night. The hotel has an attached restaurant with priority seating for you as well as a free dessert as a hotel guest. 413-531-3281
Sturbridge Host Hotel – In the center of Sturbridge with several good restaurants nearby. One of the largest hotels in the area, the Host has rooms Friday and Saturday night and Sunday night at $79 per night. About 20 minutes from the track. 508-347-7393. Again just ask for NEQ Audi club
There are also several other hotels in Sturbridge that will likely have rooms available, but have not offered any special rate.

Cancellation Policy (revised 1/21/17) No credits will be given. All cancelations will be processed as a refund minus a cancelation fee as follows:
- No penalty up to 30 days before the event
- $100 from 29 days to 11 days before the event
- No refund within 10 days of the event

Event requirements
Helmet requirements have been updated. A helmet with a SNELL SA10 or SA15 rating are the only helmets that may be used. No more M (motorcycle) helmets will be allowed.
The Northeast Region Quattro Club recognizes several Audi-VW tuners and service centers. They are NEQ supporters with years of experience and scores of satisfied customers. As a benefit for NEQ members they will provide free tech pre-inspection for applicants of our schools. Bring your Safety Inspection Checklist form. After inspection they will sign your form to be sure you are eligible for our event. Naturally there will be a charge for any parts or labor that are additionally required to prepare your vehicle. Two of these sites are APR distributors. They are all participants of our events with much experience in regard to car preparation and advice for upgrades. You will also be happy with the services of any Audi dealership but may utilize another dealership or full-time automotive repair shop at whatever rate you agree to. Be sure to call for appointments well in advance of an event.
