Attendees will be restricted to Mopar Madness attendees only for a fun 20 minutes of hot lapping the Rad Torque road course. This lapping group will run in between the road races scheduled for the day and the NASCC (the road race organizing club) is excited to have you attend!
Mandatory drivers meeting will take place at 10:50AM at the Rad Torque classroom by the road course. Lapping will commence at 11:20AM and run to 11:40AM.
Please keep in mind the following simple lapping rules to keep everyone safe and having an enjoyable lapping experience:
- Passing - passing will be point by only on the front straight, the straight between turn 2 and turn 3, the straight between 4 and 5, and the straight between 6 and 7. Lead follow until you receive a point by from the driver in front. Drivers WILL point other drivers by that have caught them.
- Flagging - several flags will be used to keep you safe, they are as follows:
- Green flag - track is clear, lap freely
- Blue flag - faster car is approaching / has caught you, prepare to point them by at next straight
- Black flag - proceed to hot pit to stewards box on this lap.
- Yellow flag - an incident has occurred, slow down and proceed with caution.
- Red flag - all traffic must stop on the track at the nearest marshall station and await further instruction.
- Chequered flag - lapping has completed, take your cool down lap and exit the track.
- This is NOT a race - all entries are here to have a good time in their modern or classic mopars, racing is not permitted - it is a lapping event. Violation will result in removal.
- Drivers meeting is mandatory - attendance will be taken at the drivers meeting, if you miss the meeting you will not be allowed to enter the track.
