The success of the Mt. Equinox Hill Climb can be judged not only by the number of returning racers each year but also by the fact that it is marked as the event with the greatest attendance by significant others. No wonder subscription fills fast early on.
Drive in the tracks of the greats - John Fitch, Bill Milliken, Cunningham, Shelby and Dreyfus to name just a few.
A five-mile, adult roller coaster that climbs 3200 feet. Experience cresting “the saddle” full throttle as your car hurtles seemingly into a cloud while testing the true meaning of the “pucker effect”.
There will be a worthy entourage of eager course marshals choosing the winner of the Dreyfus Cup.
All this and a great dinner at the Arlington Inn on Saturday night (Note: dinner not included in entry fee.)
- Equinox Driver's Club car badges will be awarded to first-timers.
- Entrants will receive a complete information package in advance of the event.
- Two-day Early Bird entry for VSCCA members: $450 (non-members $475)
- Regular entry (within two weeks of the event): $475 (non-members $500)
- Sunday only entry for VSCCA members: $225 (non-members $250)
- Saturday Night Dinner (Not included with the above entry fee): $100 per person.
- Non-VSCCA member entry rates are $25 higher, however you get a credit of $100 towards your first year of VSCCA membership by entering events in the same year.

- 8:30 AM Mandatory Drivers' Meeting
- 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Run sessions (with 1 hour break for lunch)
- 6:00-7:00 PM Cocktail at the Arlington Inn
- 7:00 PM Dinner at the Arlington Inn
- Presentation of the Mal Donaldson Award
- Presentation of the Rene Dreyfus Cup
- Presentation of Mt. Equinox Driver's Club badges

There is a wide variety of accommodations in this very popular tourist area. Demand can be very high, so please book your rooms early.
- The Arlington Inn and Spa: This is where Saturday night's dinner is. The inn is owned and managed by VSCCA members Buzz Kanter and Tabetha Hammer. VSCCA members receive a 10% discount! www.arlingtoninn.com
- The Arcady at Sunderland: This is the closest inn to the event and only a half mile or so away.
- There are several inns to the North on Rt 7A that attendees use: Northshire Lodge, Brittany Inn, Weathervane Motel, The Manchester Inn and the really high end, Equinox.
- There is plenty of trailer parking directly across the road from the paddock but it is only accessible for small trailers, i.e. typical single car open or closed trailers.
- There is NO CAMPING in the trailer parking area.
- Space for motorhomes or large, multicar trailers is very limited.
- Please check with the Event Chair if you intend to bring a motorhome.
Friday night reception (drinks and hors d'oeuvres) and lunch on Saturday are included. You are on your own for Friday night dinner and Sunday lunch. Saturday dinner at the Arlington is a separate entry and not included in the entry fee.
Very important: THERE IS NO RACE FUEL! You must bring your own.

- Car requirements:
- Cars do not have to be have a VSCCA log book but the Event Chair will approve non-logbook cars on a case by case basis and may accept appropriate cars through 1973. (1973 is used as a cutoff as the SCCA ran the event until then.)
