Hello Racers! It’s Time for the Miata Mayhem!!! This race weekend is unique as we will have a purse for Spec Miata’s. The weekend has a full race schedule for Vintage, Contemporary, Open Wheel, Karts and HPDE. HPDE school will be offered on Saturday. Suika Circuit has had some major upgrades including safer runoff area and has a renewed surface that is faster and doesn’t eat tires!
SWMS is very appreciative of our sponsors for this weekend. We have University Mazda, and Guthrie’s Garage, Inc providing the purse, and reduced entry fees for our out-of-NM guest racers.
1st Place…………………$ 1,250.00
2nd Place…………………..$ 800.00
3rd Place…………………...$ 600.00
Entry fee for the weekend for all out-of-NM racers is $275.00 to help offset travel costs. Local Racers will still be $320.00 Track will be open for practice Friday October 18, 2024, for an additional $100.00.
Requirements to Qualify for SM Purse
• SM Legal Race Car at proper weight
• 2024 SWMS, NASA or SCCA Tech Inspection
• Falken Azenis Tires 615s or 660s
Tires rules for the Miata Mayhem
• One new set of the Falken Azenis will be marked that will be the tires you must use for main race on Saturday that will set grid for championship race on Sunday.
• The same tires used for Saturday’s main race must be the same tires you use for the championship race on Sunday.
• You are allowed to use other new or used Falken Azenis for practices, qualifying or other races as you wish excluding Saturdays main race and championship race on Sunday.
• You may use TOYO’s or used Hoosiers for practice, qualifying or other races as you wish, excluding Saturday’s main race and championship race on Sunday.
