Join us for the “Let’s Wander on Whidbey” tour – our Second 2023-2024 "winter" tour. Designed for Members who drive your Porsche year 'round! Our tour gamely goes from north to south on Whidbey with minimum travel on WA-20 and WA-525. In other words, you’ll see the Whidbey that is not regularly seen. We’ll visit the parks and beaches less traveled. We’ll visit neighborhoods and the Puget Sound vistas they enjoy. We may even see the jets of Whidbey. We’ll stay rural until our tour destination: Langley – a charming town with food, refreshments, and lots of arts and crafts shopping. And gelato, wonderful creamy gelato. An ambitious tour – there’s lots to see on Whidbey! Return to mainland by WA State ferry at Clinton (4 miles south/10 mins) or return to I-5 at Mt. Vernon by WA-525/WA-20 North (approx. 50 mins)
Prefer not to drive your Porsche if the weather is bad? That's OK for these winter tours! Better to drive your "other" car than not participate at all!
Arrival time 8:00-8:30 across from McDonalds near the Tulalip Casino; driver's meeting at 8:30; first group departs at 9:00, 10 minute spacing between groups.
Event requirements
Tour Requirements:
- Cancelations and refunds: Cancelations accepted until Wednesday, Dec 6th. There are no advanced payments required for this tour.
- Car club membership: To participate, you must be a member of the PCA and also hopefully PNWR. Porsche owners who are not members may register by receiving a special invitation on a case-by-case basis from the tour leader, Bill Bauer, Tour Leader...
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Non-Porsches are allowed on all winter tours (only).

For Adult participants and attendees: All drivers and passengers must sign the Waiver Release Form, which will be provided at the tour starting point.
- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable. For participants under 18 years old, one parent/legal guardian must sign the additional "Minors as Observer Only"waiver. The parent/legal guardian must be present to sign the waiver form or the signed form must be notarized in advance. Once signed, the parent/legal guardian does NOT have to participate in the tour if the minor is riding with another adult.
- Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour each car and driver should register with a separate MotorsportReg (MSR) account.
