2019 WaveSpec / Maxsport KCRSCCA RallyCross Event #3
The 2019 WaveSpec / Maxsport KCRSCCA RallyCross Championship continues on Saturday, October 19th at Thunder Valley Sand Drags in Grain Valley, MO. The course will be run on the hard-packed clay of the drag strip and the grass parking lot, both of which are smooth and level, and resistant to rutting. The site is just outside of Grain Valley, MO with gas and food located conveniently close.
Schedule:
- Site opens at 07:00
- Tech & Registration open at 08:30 - 09:30
- Drivers Meeting at 09:30
- First Car Off 10:00
Online registration closes: 10/19/2019 @ 9:00 AM CDT
Entry fees are $35.00 for SCCA members and $45.00 for non-members (which includes a weekend membership that has perks with the SCCA).

The Thunder Valley Sand Drags are located approximately 20 miles east of Kansas City, MO.
Take exit 24 (Grain Valley) on I-70. Go South approximately 2 miles to Old US 40 Highway. Turn east (left) on Old US 40 Hwy (next to Casey's General Store) Go approximately 3/4 mile to track entrance located on the left hand side.
Event requirements
SCCA Membership is Required. You must show your SCCA Membership card or SCCA Weekend Membership receipt at registration/sign-in or you will be charged for the SCCA Weekend Membership

Notice: All batteries (on board power supplies) shall be attached to ensure that the battery and/or power supply will remain in place. If a lead acid (wet cell) type battery is battery is relocated from its original location, it must be equipped with leak proof caps and enclosed in a non-conductive, marine type box. Dry cell batteries, commonly known as Recombinant Gas (RG) or Glass Mat Technology (GMT) batteries, are not required to be in a marine-type box. The hot terminal must be insulated on all vehicles. All batteries shall be securely attached to the primary structure of the vehicle.
