Season Opener @ La Junta Raceway
AMR will open the 2024 driving season at La Junta Raceway. At 1.3-mile, and seven turns, La Junta is the perfect track for novice and experienced drivers alike! As an added treat, its low 4000-foot elevation will enhance the power of your sports car - hard to complain about that! Let's get this season started and enjoy the comradery of your fellow Porsche Club members. You do not need to be a member of PCA to join us! We welcome all cars that pass tech inspection: BMW, Audi, Miata....the list goes on!
Coming down Friday Night? We will have a Pizza (and Beer) Social at the Hampton Inn along with Pre-Registration for the weekend. Come prepared with your Tech Inspection Form and get that bit out of the way.

Non-PCA members will be charged a $15 fee in addition to the registration fee.
NOTE: Billing will be deferred until registration closes - so register now and pay later!
Event payment will be put through MSR on 05/15/2024
Your membership will be validated during registration. If you have not added your PCA Membership number, please update your profile. If you are a new PCA member and do not have or know your membership number, please contact the registrar.
Registration for this event will close on 05/12/2025 at 9:11 pm. Be sure to register early. PCA members are given preference to non-members. Priority in being confirmed is based on the date and time you register. Two-day registrations requesting/needing an instructor will be given preference to similar one-day registrations. All drivers will be waitlisted upon registration until the event/AMR CDI Team confirms your driving status and availability of an instructor should one be required/requested. We reserve the right to close registration early if capacity is
reached.
NOTE: Speed Waivers are being used for this event. Once you have registered you will be sent a link via your cell phone to electronically sign the Event Waiver. Please e-sign the waiver as prompted.
LODGING
The Hampton Inn La Junta is our preferred lodging partner for this event. The hotel is offering a special rate. You must call the hotel directly to make reservations. Mention the Porsche Club to receive the discount.

Event requirements
Drivers must be 18 years of age with valid drivers license. Members of PCA/AMR/RMR will be given preference to non-members. You need not be a member of AMR or PCA to participate. All registered vehicles must pass AMR/RMR/PCA tech inspection PRIOR to attendance. Valid Tech Form is required at registration. Snell SA 2015 or newer helmets are required and subject to inspection. Seats and harnesses must be within the specified standards. NEW: DRIVERS IN CARS EQUIPPED WITH LANE CHANGE ASSIST AND AUTO BRAKING FEATURES MUST DEMONSTRATE THE ABILITY TO DISABLE (TURN OFF) THESE FEATURES BEFORE EACH SESSION. DRIVERS WEARING AN APPLE WATCH (SERIES 8, 2ND GEN OR ULTRA) OR CARRYING AN I-PHONE 14 THAT HAS CRASH DETECTION - CRASH DETECTION MUST BE TURNED OFF. SOME USERS HAVE EXPERIENCED ACTIVATION OF CRASH DETECTION IN A HIGH-G TURN.
