Test & Tune Information: From 12 noon to 6:00 pm, Harris Hill Raceway will administer a Test/Practice Session. The event fee is $250. The track will arrange and manage the session. Please bring your car through ChampCar Tech and Registration during the day.

Guest & Pit Passes:
All people entering the paddock area must be full ChampCar Club Members.
Guests may purchase a weekend membership to ChampCar at the front gate for $20. This will give them paddock access. Children 16 and under are free with a parent or guardian and must remain up by the clubhouse. Children under 18 are not allowed in the paddock area.

Paddock:
Due to limited space and a very cozy paddock, we have to limit the number of “big rigs” at the track. We have 8 spaces for larger RVs and Toy-Haulers and you must reserve a space in advance on a first come, first served basis. These will remain up top around the clubhouse parking area. You must also check in upon arrival and an H2R staff member will help you place your rig in the right spot. No single vehicle (Trailer or Tow Vehicle) measuring longer than 28 feet may remain in the paddock and adjacent grassy areas. Support vehicles may drop off fuel etc. to your paddock space and then return to the clubhouse area. For this the “driveway” must be used (absolutely NO driving in the grass is permitted except for parking on the south side of the “driveway”). No Parking in the “driveway” is allowed – it must be kept clear for support vehicle and pedestrian traffic. We’ll also have designated storage/parking for trailers or tow vehicles up top if you need more elbow room in the paddock. Please give Harris Hill a call at 512-667-6250 to reserve one of the RV spots or if you have any questions.

Pets: Pets are welcome on the property but must be kept on a leash. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of their waste properly. Pets are not allowed in the paddock area.

Pavement and Wastes:  Do not drive stakes into the pavement.  Always use wood blocks or metal plates to prevent pavement damage from jacks and jack stands.  Do not spill oil, coolant, or fuel onto pavement or ground.  Receptacles for waste oil and for coolant are available in the tech shed.  Please make provision for removing from the premises any used tires, fuel, brake fluid, solvents, hazardous waste products, and batteries.  If you do have an accidental spill, please contact any ChampCar official.

Clothing: Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required in all paddock areas.

Camping: Self-contained RV camping is allowed on Friday & Saturday nights. Must be out by 6 pm Sunday.

Driver & Crew Waiver and Gear Check Agreement: Log into your membership portal and complete the Waiver. Once completed, please continue to the Gear Check Agreement and complete it. Once you have done this, you can collect your event wristband and helmet decal from registration. This waiver and agreement are completed once a year.

Race Car Tech Inspection:
All teams will be required to do the Online Tech Form. The Team Captain will find a button link on your main login page. Three months before the race, the tab “Submit a Tech Form” will take you to an electronic form that looks just like the paper Tech Inspection form. Fill in all the boxes at the top, then fill in or click on your car's listed point value items. Save the form, and you are done. At the track, the tech staff will check the safety items on the vehicle. Once the Tech staff clicks save on the safety portion of your online form, you will get your annual tech sticker and be able to head to ChampCar registration. Please verify your timing & scoring transponder and Flagtronics FT-200 serial numbers, and add your car class to the tech form.

Flagtronics FT200 Wireless Flagging Display:
Limited quantities of units may be available to rent. The rental fee is $50 for the event. You may purchase your own FT200 unit at https:flagtronics.com/champcar. Pink Code 35 flags will be used at all ChampCar events. As ChampCar tests the timing and scoring capabilities with the Flagtronics FT-200, it is imperative that your FT200 unit and the GPS are mounted within the rules and that the unit is working.

Alcohol: No alcohol may be consumed in the Paddock during the day’s racing events.  Alcohol may be consumed 30 minutes following the completion of on-track activity for the day.
