The Golden Gate Chapter is headed to the BMW Performance Center West at the Thermal Club near Palm Springs, CA for a ///M Club Day event on January 21, 2023! The Performance Center provides current ///M cars, instructors, gas, tires, and lunch at a fantastic facility at a private race track. All you have to do is get yourself there and be ready to drive.

During our Club Day event, you'll focus on improving your driving skills and having a blast on the track through a combination of driving exercises, classroom instruction, and competitive events. You will NOT need a helmet or any previous driving school experience. Any skill level is welcome!

This Club Day is a special program designed by the Performance Center staff specifically for our chapter. You'll have instruction on proper driving position, vehicle dynamics, car-control skills, weight-transfer, oversteer/understeer, and improved vision in the classroom and on the track. The day will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions which will mix skill exercises and competitive events. This will include sessions on the skid pad, track, autocross, and more!

We will be driving current ///M cars for this event. No guarantees on the exact models available, but should include the M3, M4, and M5. Session contents and cars are subject to change!  The cost for this event is $790 for a single seat in a car. The car is shared with another participant. If you would like the car to yourself, the cost will be $1580.The cost includes all the consumables on the car (car included) as well as lunch at the Performance Center.

We'll meet at the Performance Center West at 0800 on Saturday, January 21, 2023 and should end around 17:00.
