About this event
If you love spirited driving on backroads, these events are for you! Here are two great winter rallies in one weekend; you can run these rallies in your street car with no special modifications. Grab a friend and let's go!
Flamethrower RoadRally- February 22, 2025
Flamethrower Rally is a brisk Regularity (TSD) Rally which invites you to compete from Red Wing to Winona on some of Minnesota's best driving roads. The course takes advantage of the elevation changes, natural twisty gravel backroads, and challenging winter conditions in the valleys flowing into the Mississippi River. Road conditions can range from frozen gravel to snow and even some ice. This year we will enjoy several very twisty single-lane minimum maintenance roads as well! No ground clearance issues were found while prerunning with a stock economy car. "Flamethrower" is a reference to Lucas Flamethrower driving lights because much of this rally will be held in dusk and nighttime conditions!
Alligator Slide RoadRally- February 23, 2025
Alligator Slide Rally is a brisk Regularity (TSD) Rally which invites you to compete from Winona back to Red Wing on some of Wisconsin's best driving roads. The course pits you against the same fun and challenging driving weather conditions in Flamethrower, but includes a mix of paved & gravel roads sure to keep you on your toes! You may expect to encounter sandy areas, snow, and possibly some ice. "Alligator Slide" is a reference to a classic driftless-area rally road which hasn't been run in many years- until now!

Car: Your standard road car will work just fine! Low clearance vehicles would not be an ideal choice this year. That said, the course has been pre-run with a 1G Honda Insight and final measurement will be done with a Chevrolet Corvair. You do NOT need a specially prepared car.
People: Each car must include two people: a driver and a navigator. No other passengers are allowed. If your navigator is a minor a special release is required- please ask ahead of time.
Equipment: No special equipment is required. For the most fun, we recommend you download the Rabbit Rally 2.0 app to use our interactive digital roadbook and GPS timing. Rabbit Rally 2.0 offers an interactive digital roadbook and does all calculations for you so that you always know if you are on time. Time Allowances are now integrated directly into Rabbit for easier operation.

You will compete on road sections called Regularity Stages linked by non-scored Transit sections. The objective is to arrive at every GPS checkpoint exactly on time according to the roadbook speeds.
