This will be a unique opportunity to watch and participate in a live interview of the
legendary Ferrari designer and engineer, Mauro Forghieri. Now 87 years old,
Ing. Forghieri served as Ferrari’s Chief Engineer and Technical Director
from 1962 to 1984. As Wikipedia notes, “Forghieri was involved to
some degree in the development of every racing car produced
by the Factory” from his arrival in 1960 to his departure
in 1987.
The interview will be conducted at Forghieri's villa in Magreta, outside Modena, Italy,
and will be streamed live on Zoom to The Candy Store clubhouse in Burlingame
for our members and guests. It will be interactive, enabling us to speak and
ask questions directly to him.
Ing. Forghieri will be joined by former Scuderia Ferrari head mechanic Ermanno Cuoghi.
Having worked previously for Carroll Shelby and John Wyer on their endurance racing
teams, Cuoghi joined Ferrari in 1971. He became Niki Lauda’s personal mechanic.
Moderating the interview will be renowned Formula 1 journalist and technical illustrator,
Giorgio Piola.

There is also the option to "attend" remotely on Zoom, limited to 25 persons,
available only to those who are unable geographically to attend in person.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
All registrations are final and there are no cancellations.
