Gear up for the 2020 rally season with Cascade's road rally school and rally. Learn to play the game that takes you places.
The rally school class starts at 10 a.m. at the North Plains Senior Center. Plan to arrive a bit early to check in and pick up your materials.
Review Cascade time-speed-distance road rally rules. And get familiar with the new GPS timing app that simplifies scoring and gives you nearly immediate feedback on your performance. Give your new knowledge a test drive with a practice rally starting about noon and ending a couple hours later at the Helvetia Tavern.
Entry fee: $20 per car for CSCC members, $30 per car for non-members. Entry fee includes classroom session and practice rally.

10 a.m. to noon - Classroom session at North Plains Senior Center
noon to about 2 p.m. - Practice rally ending at Helvetia Tavern
Event requirements
Rally School is for anyone interested in running Cascade TSD Road Rally events. No road rally experience needed.
Entry requires a street-legal vehicle with driver and navigator. The vehicle must pass a tech inspection to participate. The driver must have a valid driver’s license and carry minimum insurance coverage(s) as required in the state where the vehicle is registered.
Each entry team must have a smart device (e.g., cell phone or tablet) capable of running the Competitor Richta GPS Checkpoints app in order to participate in this event. Instructions for downloading and using the Richta app will be provided during the Rally School.
All participants must sign the Insurance Liability Waiver form at day of event check-in. A parent or legal guardian must sign a minor release form for participants under the age of 18.
