DRIVE AND DINE TO CREEK'S EDGE WINERY
When: Sunday, September 8, at 9:30 am
Where: Rally Point near Chantilly, VA to be provided to registrants.
What: Join Drive and Dine Leads Steve & Ann as we bring back a fan favorite from several years ago. After a hot summer and busy Labor Day weekend, it's time for a scenic ride in your favorite car, delicious wine and food, all shared with your good Porsche friends. We will head west on some familiar, and perhaps some new, winding and scenic roads. Enjoy the views as we snake our way through the Virginia countryside. Around 65 miles and 100 mins later, we will arrive at the Creek's Edge Winery near Lovettsvile, VA. TripAdvisor describes Creek's Edge as "..a beautiful Amish-built facility nestled between the Catoctin Creek and Furnace Mountain in Loudoun County, Virginia. This award-winning winery pairs a beautiful environment with some of Northern Virginia's best wines.". Once at the winery, we will enjoy spacious parking facilities and a reserved tables under a pavilion that will keep us dry regardless of the weather.
We will be treated to a buffet of the winery's Brunch Boards (Chef's selections of cured meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, waffles, pastries, kielbasa, sausage, butter and syrup) plus iced tea and lemonade.
Flights of wine can be purchased to enjoy with your brunch and must be pre-ordered at registration. Choose from a White Flight (Oaked Chardonnay, Water's Edge White, Sweet Caroline, Viognier) or a Red Flight (Creek Bed Redd, Cabernet Franc, Bourbon Barrel Blend, Family Blend) or try them both! Glasses and bottles of wine are available for purchase in the pavilion on the day. Check out the winery's website for more details on the wines.
COST:
- $35 per person for the brunch buffet and non-alcoholic beverages.
- $20 per person for the wine flight which must be ordered during registration.
*Note: You must be 21 yrs or old or older to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive.
ALL participants, including drivers and guests, must agree to and sign the PCA Release and Waiver Form. This must be completed before the event. If you need an additional waiver the link is: hhttps://pcapotomacdd.speedwaiver.com/ecmhb. As the registered member, it is your responsibility for ensuring your guest(s) receive and sign the waiver 3 days prior to the event.
Event requirements
TIME OF PAYMENT
When you register you will not initially be charged the $35 per person fee, plus $20 for each optional wine flight you select. We will charge your credit card 14 business days before the event. After your card is charged, we will only issue a refund if we can fill your spot from the waitist..
APPLICATIONS/ACCEPTANCE
- Registration will be limited to 60 people.
- Registrants will initially be listed as “New” or "Waitlisted" if the event is filled.
- Formal notification of acceptance into the event will be sent via email. You are responsible for updating your profile in motorsportreg.com (MSR) website to include your current contact information.
- If you haven’t received any notification, check the MSR website for your status.
- PCA Potomac Drive & Dine rules will be followed for the safety of all participants. (Discussed at the drivers’ briefing).
- An electronic version of the Drive & Dine rules, maps, and written directions will be emailed to the email on-file with MSReg, You will be responsible for printing as needed.
PAYMENT
- PCA Potomac accepts only credit cards for payment. You are responsible for maintaining VALID CREDIT CARD INFORMATION in your MSR profile.
- Payment will be requested from your designated credit card 14 business days prior to the event.
- Billing problems result in notification by email with limited time to resolve due to the short billing cycles. If the issue is not resolved, you may be canceled from the event.
- Credit card and billing information uses secure connections and is protected by MotorSportReg.com. You are the only person who has access to your card number. We only see the last four digits for billing purposes.
EVENT Cancelation
- Cancelation must be made no later than August 24, 2024, to get a full refund. If you cancel on August 25 or after, you will be issued a refund ONLY if we can fill your spot from someone on the wait-list.
- If you must cancel, please cancel as soon as possible to allow others from the wait-list to attend.
- If you cannot cancel online, you must notify the Dine and Drive POC by email and receive an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT by email to verify that have you been canceled
