You're invited to participate in the SECOND Chesapeake Challenge 51 event! REGISTER NOW!
With the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Chesapeake Region Board has determined the normal Chesapeake Challenge activities cannot occur this year. But the Tour and Rally Committee has developed a no-contact Gimmick Rally event. The objective is to have fun, with safety for all participants.
No-Contact Competition and Scoring
Date: Saturday, October 31st. If necessary, rain dates are Sunday, November 1st, or Saturday, November 7th.
We will stage the cars based on arrival time; Arrival time is Noon on October 31st.
Driver's Meeting will be at 12:30pm.
First car off will be at 1:00 PM, one at a time, and two minutes apart.
The rally will take approximately 90 minutes to complete.

Finish line: 118 Shawan Rd, Cockeysville, MD
Awards
The top three drivers and top three co-drivers/navigators will receive awards for the Gimmick Rally event, and receive points toward the Chesapeake Challenge overall trophy.
Event requirements
Participants must be PCA members (in good standing) to participate in the Chesapeake Challenge 51 Gimmick Rally event. The parents or grandparents of minor participants must be present at the rally, and must complete a "Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability" form. The minor participant must complete a "Minor's Assumption of Risk Acknowledgement" form. All participants must complete a “Waiver and Release of Liability" form. Copies of these forms can be found below, on the Chesapeake Region website, the national PCA website, or from the event organizers on the day of the event:

REQUIREMENTS
The below requirements must be met by each participant on the day of the event. Organizers will not have additional materials available on-site for participants who neglect to bring any of the below items.
A face mask must be worn by every participant when outside his or her car
Even when inside their cars, participants must wear face masks when talking to a rally master or rally marshal through their open windows.
Copy of General Instructions which will be e-mailed to participants. Participants are responsible for printing the instructions prior to the event.
Clock or wristwatch, to be calibrated during drivers’ meeting
Smartphone
Stopwatch (in smartphone or standalone device)
Pens
Paper
Clipboard or equivalent
Car’s number (to be provided) must be displayed on bottom-center of windshield.
Cellular data plan for smartphone not required but highly recommended.
NOTE: Not meeting or having any of the above requirements will result in disqualification.
