Registration ends Friday 4/11 at 4pm

$60 for School - limited to 30 entries plus waitlist
$45 for Sunday only Mock Event
Free for Instructors and Workers- We are always looking for more volunteers so feel free to reach out to the club if you are available (Saturday lunch and Sunday TnT included)

Students will be divided into 3 groups. In the morning, groups will either be practicing oval, slalom, or working course. These basic elements will get students familiar with visuals and practices that will be common on most autocross courses. After attacking these individual elements, a full course will be created over the lunch break and then all students will get to learn for the rest of the day on a full autocross course featuring the elements they practice in the morning.

All students, instructors, workers from Saturday will have free entry to the Sunday Mock Event, which will run on the same course as the Saturday School. The Mock Event is also open for seperate Sunday registration for those that want to come and drive without receiving any instruction. This Sunday portion will be run exactly the same as a normal CCSCC autocross event,  so students can see what a regular autocross event is.

Lunch will be provided on Saturday during the school.

Event requirements

Basic Event Guidelines and Safety

  1. A valid drivers license is required in order to participate, please bring drivers license with you to registration.  Temporary permits are allowed if parent/guardian remains present while driving.
  2. Please note that our insurance doesn't allow tippy vehicles like SUVs. Please consult the 2025 SCCA Solo Rulebook section 3.1 and the beginning of Appendix A.  Regardless of the listing, all vehicles may be subjected to the Height/Width check by the SS's on-site.
  3. All vehicles must pass safety inspection on the following points prior to running: working seat belts, throttle return action, secure battery, *no* leaks, adequate brake pedal, tire condition, tie-rods, and wheel bearings.
  4. All loose items, snap-on hubcaps, detachable fender skirts, speaker boxes, center caps, and trim rings must be removed.
  5. Closed toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops) while driving.
  6. Certified Helmets are required (Snell M2010/SA2010 or newer), but the club has loaner helmets to provide as well.  If you don't know the rating of your helmet you can look inside for a sticker, just may need to pull back some of the padding to locate the sticker. If you want to purchase a helmet you can look online at places like Solo Performance Specialties.
  7. All adults present in the event site (whether they are participating or not) will need to sign the speedwaiver before they arrive on site.
  8. Minors must have a speedwaiver filled out by both parents(if applicable).  One parent/legal guardian must be onsite for the entire event.  If on a learner's permit, the parent can either ride along with the student or give written permission to have an instructor ride with them instead.
  9. The complete 2025 SCCA Solo Rulebook is available on www.scca.com.
