Can-Am Challenge Club Race at CTMP (Mosport)

This year we're continuing the cross-border competition with the BMW Club Racing Canadian American Challenge. The Can-Am Challenge is a homage to the historic Can-Am series that spanned the Canadian and United States border from 1966-1974. Our 2024 Can-Am Challenge is being run at two historic tracks, the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mosport), August 2-4, and Watkins Glen International in September. A team-based points scheme will determine the winner and the glorious Can-Am trophy will be presented for the country that wins the challenge! Last year, the Americans took the trophy home with them again. 2024 is the year we reign triumphant and bring the trophy home to Canada. The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, opened in 1961 is a former Formula One Canadian Grand Prix venue and today hosts the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. It’s an extraordinarily challenging, 2.5 mile, 10-turn rollercoaster ride!

This year the schedule will include:

• Two practice, qualify and a 60 minute enduro on Friday
• Warm-up, qualify and two sprint races on Saturday (the feature race will be the second race)
• Warm-up and a sprint race on Sunday

We'll be all wrapped up by 2:00pm on Sunday.

3 - Day Registration is $695 CAD (includes HST). That's approximately USD $525. Sign up soon! Your credit card will only be charged on the weekend of the event, and only if you attend and turn a wheel on the track, so there is no risk.
