About this event
Please join us June 13* - 16, 2024 for the BMW CCA Club Race weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS).
THE EVENT SCHEDULE IS HERE.
This is a rare opportunity for BMW Club Racing to visit the historic IMS for a Thursday late afternoon through Sunday race weekend, partnering with the spectator supported SVRA Speed Tour on the 2.439 mile Indy Grand Prix course.
This will be a National points event and is one of the races in the new for 2024 Blue Ridge Challenge.
*Important note: If you can participate, there is a full practice day on Thursday 6/13 available directly from SVRA. Details on how to sign up for this at the preferred member rate are here.
*Another important note: Our first practice session will be the last session of the day on Thursday 6/13. You'll need to arrive at the track before 3pm to be able to participate - first session on Friday will be qualifying.
Registration is $750, and includes all three days of racing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - register now!
EVEN MORE IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. This event is limited to 60 entries and is expected to sell out. Modification to our cancelation policy due to strong demand- if you cancel after May 30th (so starting 5/31/2024 at 12:01am) we need to charge you $250 - this is to ensure we are being fair to those on the waitlist.
2. Each registration includes 4 free admissions tickets for crew and family/spectators. Club Racing will be using a Google form to manage/distribute extra crew/spectator tickets from drivers not requiring all four admission tickets. This will be emailed to you 4 weeks before the event – please make sure to fill it out so we can help our fellow racers who may need extra admission tickets. (SVRA will also be offering our drivers discounted admission tickets - these can be acquired at the gate on arrival at the track.
3. SVRA will be offering a limited number of garages for rent to our drivers – more info to follow.
4. IMS has a NO PETS policy
5. RV’s not pulling trailers will not be able to enter the facility (more details on camping options will be available as we get closer to the event).
Fun fact: The IMS site, home of the annual Indianapolis 500 and the Brickyard 400 auto racing events, is one of the largest sports venues in the world. The famous racetrack is so large that it could comfortably house eight famous landmarks from around the world (including the White House, Vatican City, the Taj Mahal, the Roman Colosseum, Yankee Stadium, Rose Bowl Stadium, Liberty Island, and Churchill Downs) with room to spare.
