Forward Kart layout, Clockwise.
Long Kart layout full Senior and Junior classes. Short Kart layout for Cadet classes.
We run rain or shine. VIKA reserves the right to cancel due to ice or snow.
We will be running the club races under the following supplemental regulations found on the VIKA site here.
We have been given the opportunity to run our karting program at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit and we must be aware of noise issues in consideration of our neighbors. It is imperative that we keep a low profile as far as noise is concerned. All maintenance should be done before you arrive at the tack.
Please no pets (VIMC rules).

Tag senior will Run for the inaugural Dorothy Alexander memorial trophy. 
40 Karts max on track we will run A & B if we get more than that in one class.
1 Set of tires for the weekend official sessions (Qualifying and racing.)
Saturdays qualifying and heats will be lined up as per the finishing order of each previous session.
Sunday Pre finals will be lined up by total of points from Saturday's qualifying and heats combined
Finals lined up from the finishing order of the pre finals
ANY KART NOT REGISTERED THOUGH MOTORSPORT REG PRIOR TO THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE WILL BE CHARGED AN EXTRA $75.

All new drivers will need to show proof of birth date prior to their first VIKA race. Please note officials reserve the right to request proof of birth date at any time during an event.
Documents accepted: Passport, Birth Certificate, BCID or Care Card.

Thursday - May 2nd
Gates open at 5:00 pm for large approved teams to arrive and setup (please email Vikaexec@gmail.com for approval to unload Thursday night).
Registration open 5:00 pm to 7:45 pm
Set up track Barriers / Pylons etc.
Gates close at 8:00 pm
Friday - May 3rd
Gates open at 6:30 am
Registration 7:30am to 12:00 pm
Practice from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (45 min lunch break)
Gates close at 7:30 pm
Saturday - May 4th
Gates open at 6:30 am
Practice 9:00 am (5 min sessions)
Drivers meeting immediately after practice
Qualifying 10:30 am (5 min sessions)
Lunch 12:00 to 12:45
All Drivers to front of building with helmets @ 12:15 pm for group photo
Heat race #1 12:45pm 10 laps
Heat Race #2 2:45pm 10 laps
Gates close at 7:00 pm
Submit tech forms to Pit Boss during qualifying lineup; missing forms lead to disqualification.
Verify transponders on practice list before qualifying.
Ensure push-down bumpers are unclipped at grid before Pre-Final and Final.
Sunday - May 5th
Gates open 6:30 am
Opening Ceremonies National anthems 8:30 am
Warm up 9:00 am (5 min sessions)
Pre finals 10:15 am 10 laps
Lunch 12:15 pm to 1:00 pm
Finals 1:00 pm 12 laps
Trophy Presentations 3:30 pm
Tear down track
Gates close 6:30 pm
All times and race lengths are subject to change at Race directors discretion and amount of entries in each class.

Transponder numbers are required for all karts. You must provide the number during registration. If you do not own a transponder, you may rent one for $40 for the weekend. Please preregister for a transponder by entering 'RENTAL' in the transponder number field during registration. We have a limited number of transponders available and they will be rented out in the order you register via motorsport reg. Failure to have your transponder number registered to your kart will result in no practice times being posted.

Event requirements
- All Race Day Kart Entries MUST be completed in MotorsportReg.com. NO LATE PAPER entries will be accepted.

- If you do not already have one, create an account on MotorsportReg.com after reading these steps.
- Once logged in, click "My Account" at the top right.
- Please use proper capitalization for all of your information as it will appear on the race results. This includes vehicle information.
- Review kart making sure to enter your preferred kart number and your transponder number.
- Next return to this page and enter the event and pay online.
All entries on MotorSportReg require a credit card to complete the registration process, and payment will be processed once online registration closes. If you do not have a credit card, please contact the Registrar to make other arrangements.

You will receive an email confirmation of your entry automatically from the MotorsportReg.com system.
Some classes will be combined due to time constraints. The race director reserves the right to move any driver from one class to another.
We run rain or shine. Rain tires are allowed.
