About this event
Event Announcement
Hawaii Rally Sport Association (HRSA) and National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Hawaii Region are happy to announce the Auto-X Afternoon Group for the Aloha Mustang & Shelby Club of Hawaii with HRSA/NASA Hawaii! event on Saturday, June 12, 2021. This is the registration for the Afternoon Run Group. The Auto-X will be held at the Aloha Stadium Lower Lot, Honolulu, Hawaii. The event also has partial sponsorship from Circuit Hawaii's Development Team. The Miata Club participants will work the Lunch Run Group and Auto-X with the Circuit Hawaii Invitees in the PM Run Group. The event is by invitation only.
While the Association entities are new to Hawaii, the event organizers have over a decade of experience hosting-insuring-sanctioning motorsports events in Hawaii. In fact, some of the group's members are responsible for bringing the first RallyCross events to Hawaii over 10 years ago. Our members have also assisted JN Exotics with their Track Day Events and served as Safety Stewards and participants at multiple Autocross type events throughout the State of Hawaii.
SPECIAL NOTE: There is a maximum pre-registration requirement of 10 Drivers for each Run Group for this event. Due to the City's Covid-19 Restrictions, we will organize into an AM Run Group for the Super Car Club Participants and a PM Run Group for the Shelby Cobra Club and Circuit Hawaii Participants. The AM and PM Run Groups will be separated by a Lunch Session. During the Lunch Session the HRSA-NASA Hawaii Staff Invitees will be on course.
The event will be NASA Auto-X and participation is by invitation only. State of Hawaii and City and County of Honolulu Covid-19 restrictions and requirements will be practiced. A thermal scan of all participant's forehead will be taken. Face masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Due to the restrictions, only participants and their pit crew-guests are allowed to be on-site.
Hawaii Rally Sport Association (HRSA) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit group who host, promote and support Hawaii based Motorsports and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education Programs in the State of Hawaii. Proceeds from the events we host-insure-sanction will go to charity. Our current charity benefactor is Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
HRSA is very fortunate to have partial sponsorship for the 2021 season from these generous companies: Circuit Hawaii.
Auto-X is low speed car control competition and is the most readily accessible form of asphalt motorsport in the National Auto Sport Association's many motorsport offerings. It's the perfect place to see if you have what it takes to power and control your way to victory. Imagine a scaled down version of a road course laid out on a paved parking lot where the course is delineated by traffic cones. Vehicles are released on course, one at a time, to maintain safe vehicle distancing. Best of all, it's great fun!
