The Art of (NOT) Racing on The Plains HPDE

High Plains Raceway

About this event

The Art of (NOT) Racing on the Plains HPDE

RMR/PCA High Performance Driver Education Event at High Plains Raceway

Saturday and Sunday, June 10-11, 2023

Registration is still open for solo’d drivers.  However,  because it is  oversubscribed for those drivers requiring an instructor, registrations of non-solo’d drivers after May 27 will not be considered for participation.

Join us for RMR’s second HPDE event of the year when things start to heat up!

Will it rain? Who knows?  One thing is certain, we will be Learning The Art of (NOT) Racing on the Plains!  RMR provides a team of instructors & volunteers to train you and your Porsche to go around the best track Colorado has to offer.   The CDI team will lead a track walk after the Saturday dinner.  The corners to be walked will be determined just before we start walking, and the discussion will be highly informative.

  • Lunchtime charity rides will be held for $20 per vehicle - Any roadworthy vehicle can drive the track at touring/highway speeds.  All proceeds benefit our charity: Food Bank of the Rockies
  • Lunches for volunteers and instructors will be provided.
  • Saturday Dinner ($25) - Menu to be determined

There will be beer-30 on both Saturday and Sunday, and the club provides water during the day to help keep you hydrated.

We are excited to support our charity for this event:  Food Bank of the Rockies You can donate as much as you would like during registration.

As of this time there are no COVID-19 related restrictions in place that will impact this event. That may change, we will update you if it does.

This Event will be using Deferred Billing, your credit card will not be charged until Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

Dates: Gates open by 6:30 am Thursday June 8, before the event and remain open 24hrs/day until after the event ends on Sunday (the paddock is closed Sunday night).  HPR offers open lapping all day Thursday and Friday.
