Event requirements
Friday is 944Fest day.
Friday spots are available to transaxle Porsches (924/944/968/928) or other models with Prior Approval.
*If you’re unsure if the 944 will be ready in time and you might have to track the 2004 Toyota Camry in it’s place OR if you drive an RX-7 and feel like it’s 944-like enough to blend in, just ask. We’ll probably let you slide in on Friday.
Saturday is open to all cars.
Saturday spots are open to all makes and models.
*Convertibles without factory rollover protection will require a roll bar installed
Rungroup A:
The most advanced group reserved for our instructors. It offers full course passing.
Rungroup B:
Solo / Advanced group for experienced drivers who have previously been signed off by an instructor to drive solo. It offers extended passing zones with point by.
Rungroup C:
Novice group for those who have had previous HPDE or track experience but are not solo. Ride along instructors and classroom sessions provided. Front and Back straight passing only with point by.
Rungroup D:
First Timers group for those who have NEVER had ANY track experience. This is the same format as group C except with a stronger focus on teaching the very basics and getting drivers comfortable in the track setting.
Each rungroup is scheduled to have 4 x 20min sessions on track for each day.
Two drivers can participate in the HPDE with a single car and each driver can receive the full schedule of track time so long as the drivers are in different rungroups. For instances, one driver in D and one driver in C can use the same car. Two full HPDE registrations are still required.
