6th Annual BMW CCA "Flat Out" Classic Festival
Heartland Motorsports ParkAbout this event
This is a car lover's dream event you'll never forget! The Great Plains, Kansas City, Sunbelt, St. Louis and Iowa chapters of the BMW Car Club of America announce the 6th Annual Flat Out Classic
to be held in Topeka, Kansas from May 31-June 2, 2019.
The Flat Out Classic is an automotive festival featuring several events that appeal to a diverse group of enthusiasts. Car lovers from across the US will gather at Heartland Park Topeka to participate in a high-performance drivers school. It's an opportunity for you to drive the same professional level race track that has been on ESPN, and ABC. Then end the longest day with an opportunity to run your car on the same drag strip that hosts NHRA Nationals.
We have big news for 2019 - we're very excited to be offering classroom sessions by Ross Bentley - yes, the foremost authority on driving instruction for all levels from novice to pro. This is not an opportunity to be missed! Ross will be onsite for this year's event! We will have limited spaces for Ross' classes, and they'll fill up quickly! We have an exciting range of classes scheduled for this year's event - please see the listing on the registration form for more details. Please contact us at registrar@flatoutclassic.com with any questions.
Ross' Speed Secrets books, webinars, eBooks, newsletters, track walks and in-person coaching, and seminars are in demand all over the world. Ross can help you understand what you're doing now at your current level of driving, plus help you go beyond to the next level. Ross is also a friend of the marque and a long-time BMW enthusiast! He won the U.S. Road Racing Championship in a factory M3 in 1998, provided vehicle testing and feedback training for BMW NA, and his advanced driving school in Canada was sponsored by BMW for five years.

BMW CCA driving schools are designed to teach drivers how to safely improve their driving abilities and explore their cars’ capabilities. Students, using their own cars, get one-on-one instruction from experienced instructors. Our overriding emphasis is on safety, and safely learning how to control the car in emergency and higher performance conditions. The school is conducted on a paved, closed, and controlled course to minimize risk to persons and equipment. This is not a racing school, practice or preparation for racing, and it is not a timed, competitive event or speed contest. Even though we try to minimize risk, there is an inherent risk of damage to your car and injury to yourself. Please be certain that you are willing to accept this risk before registering for the school.
