About this event

46th Annual Midwest Invitational at Road America Thursday June 24th - Sunday Jun 27th. Our Annual Midwest Invitational is held at the world famous Road America track which consists of a four-day open track event.

 

Changes for 2021:

1) Snell SA2015 and newer helmet requirements.

2) The addition of Group 5.  The intention of this group is for newbies and those of you that want to drive less aggressively but still want to drive your car on track.

Club Membership is required to drive in the event, this includes co-drivers. If you are going to drive a car on track you must be a club member AND 18 OR OLDER. See link to renew or become a new member. Membership Link

The TECH form must be completed in order to register for an event. This is a one time process. If you do 1 event or multiple events you only need to complete the TECH form once per year. TECH Form Link

Thursday June 24th is a true open track event, run as much as you want. Thursday is for Advanced Drivers only. Cost is $850 for Thursday only.  Cost is $450 for Thursday when running multiple days.  Additional rules apply. If interested contact host or click on link for additional information.

Cost (Friday/Saturday/Sunday): $290 Single Day / $500 Two Days / $700 Three Days. A late fee of $75 will be added to registrations received after May 24, 2021.

Event is open to ALL Car Makes.

All drivers and passengers must be 18 or older in order to participate.

Driver Experience Levels: (Advanced Drivers Only in Group 1) / General Group Placement Guidelines: Our groups are based on driver experience, car capability, speed, and how hard you want to drive your car. 

A = Advanced: 25+ Days of Open Track, (HPDE), Experience (Groups 1,2,3,4,5)

I = Intermediate: 8-24 Days of Open Track, (HPDE), Experience (Groups 2,3,4,5)

B = Beginner: 1-7 Days of Open Track, (HPDE), Experience. (Group 4,5). 

N = Newbie: No Track Experience. Instructor Required or members just wanting to drive less aggressive. (Group 5 only)

All helmets for drivers and passengers must have a SNELL SA2015 rating, or better rating. The following ratings are approved;  SA2015 and SA2020.  Snell M rated helmets OF ANY YEAR  WILL NOT be accepted.

-Event Registration Fees / Facts:

A late fee of $75 will be added to all registrations received after June 18th 2021 

If onsite (at the track) registration is offered, an additional $100 fee will be charged per event. Note that the registration late fee also applies to onsite registrations.

Are you a current member?  DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS CURRENT.  YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELLED  IF YOU ARE NOT A CURRENT MEMBER.

HAVE YOU COMPLETED THE TECH FORM? DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL TECH FORM IS COMPLETED. YOU CAN NOT REGISTER WITHOUT COMPLETING THE TECH FORM.
