Instructors for the
2025 WHRRI/SCCA Accredited Competition Driving School
Due to a surplus of instructors in recent years, only a limited number of instructors will be approved to participate in this year's school. You must receive a confirmation email and be listed in the Attendees list on the MSR registration page.
Priority will be give to instructors with WHRRI memberships and seniority in instructing. Also, please note that there is no open wheel group this year at the driving school. Primary focus will be for closed wheel vehicles.

Please note there are two levels of registration:
1- Instructors with 3 or more years of experience as a driving school instructor at Waterford Hills will have the opportunity to mentor students and new instructors.
2- Instructors with less than 3 years of experience will have the opportunity to be an observer/instructor-in-training. (some excpetions may be made based on skill level and club involement) -
General information about the school: The Competition Driving School is for individuals wishing to compete in “wheel-to-wheel” racing events sanctioned by WHRRI, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and other sanctioning organizations accepting the WHRRI driving school permit.
Below you will find the schedule and information needed to register as an instructor at this nationally renowned Competition Driving School. Registration is mandatory.

Event requirements
Please continue on to register as a volunteer driving instructor.
Requirements are:
- Instructors need to have at least 3 years of previous school experience in wheel-to-wheel instructing.
- Instructor-in-training will shadow an Instructor during the weekend and observe students while reporting back to the Instructors.
Please answer ALL questions relating to your racing/instructing experience on the registration form.
