Event requirements
There are two scenarios for renewing your BMW CCA Club Racing license:
1. Standard License Renewal
Your BMW CCA membership must be current, you must have raced with BMW CCA Club Racing two weekends within your license period and your medical requirements must be up to date.**
A renewal applicant who has raced at least twice (but not with Club Racing) may be offered the option of renewing with a license fee surcharge of $50. This situation requires CR to verify those non-CR events were run without incident – the $50 fee is to encourage racing with BMW CCA and to cover administrative costs.
The fee for a standard renewal is $115.00. If you need your renewal within 10 days, there's an additional rush fee of $50.00.
**(If your Medical isn't current, go to the Physician’s Examination and Medical History package. (send in page 4 only*) https://bmwccaclubracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Medical-Form-2020.pdf)
2. Reissue of an Expired License
Your license is Expired if not renewed within 90 days of the expiration date or if you have not raced with BMW CCA Club Racing two weekends within the license period. In addition to your BMW CCA membership being current, your medical requirements must be up to date. Here is the link to the Physician’s Examination and Medical History package (send in page 4 only*) https://bmwccaclubracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Medical-Form-2020.pdf
The fee for reissuing an expired license is $140.00. When your license is reissued, the date on the license is retroactive to the original renewal date. If you need your reissue within 10 days, there's an additional rush fee of $50.00.
A renewal applicant who has raced at least twice in the just ended license period, but not with Club Racing, may be offered the option of renewing with a license fee surcharge of $50. This situation will require CR to verify those non-CR events were run without incident – the $50 fee is to encourage racing with BMW CCA and to cover administrative costs.
If you are currently on probation, email a copy of your penalty letter to Katie Chulkas (License Administrator) at kchulkas@bmwcca.org. If you wish, you can mail a copy of your penalty letter to this address.
