2024 Temporary Licence
If you are interested in trying ice racing this is the place to be! We are able grant you a 1 weekend licence so that you can see if you want to race with us on a regular basis. You must apply for a temporary licence before you register for an event at the track.
If you have ice raced before, you may be eligible for a 1 weekend temporary licence. You must apply for a temporary licence before you register for an event.
Event requirements
You must have either your own ice race car or have access to one - CASC-OR does not supply race vehicles. The ice race vehicle must have passed our inspection process.
If you have not ice raced before you will be required to have as qualified instructor or experienced ice race competitor with you while on track for all sessions. If you do not know an experienced ice race competitor, we will be able to assign one for you.
The following are required:
- You have not ice raced previousily
- You hold a valid Provincial/State Driver Licence
- You are at least 16 years of age
- You have read the 2024 Ice Race Regulations - these can be found on the CASC-OR website: https://www.casc.on.ca/ice-racing/rules
If you are a returning competitor (have ice raced previousily), the following are required:
- You have ice raced previousily - preferrably in the last 5 years
- You hold a valid Provincial/State Driver Licence
- You are at least 16 years of age
