Event requirements
MEMBERSHIP AND EVENTS:
The Summit Point Driver’s Club (the Club) is a membership ONLY club for qualified drivers.
- Memberships are good for a 10 period from the date of initiation fee payment..
- Summit Point will schedule 18 Club Track Days per year on the Summit Point Circuit.
- Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided each Club Track Day.
- Electric service in the paddock no charge, you must identify yourself as a Summit Point Drivers Club Member to the attendant
- Free gate entry at all spectator events, you must identify yourself as a Summit Point Drivers Club Member to the attendant
- Club social at end of season
- Additional activities may be added but are not guaranteed.
New members
- Must be referred by an existing Club Memeber in good standing
- Must apply for approval
- Must meet driver requirements below
- New member initiation fee of $3000.
DUES AND FEES:
Summit Point Motorsports Park has authority to set all fees and dues in order to maintain the facility and Club amenities.
Club members will be given 120 days notice of any change to fees and dues.
Club Members agree to pay monthly dues and black top fees.
- Dues may be paid monthly March through November and are $198. per month.
- Black Top fees may be paid per visit and are $210. per Track Day or $378. for back-to-back consecutive Track Days.
- Members may pre-pay ALL dues and fees with a one-time annual payment of $4,434.
Club Members may bring guests
Club Members are responsible for their guest’s conduct at all times while on Summit Point Motorsports Park property.
Club Member must be registered and prior to the guest
Club Member must be onsite for the same Track Day
- 'Paddock’ guests(Not driving) are welcome, may come as often as they like, lunch is included-$30. per guest and per day
- Please include the # of non driving paddock guests in your registration
- Driving guest
- Must be pre-approved prior to the scheduled event .
- Must pre register upon approval
- Member has to be registered first
- Individual driving guests are limited to 3 visits per year, exceptions require management approval.
- Driving guest fee includes lunch- $420. per Track Day or $650 for back-to-back consecutive Track Days.
- Driving guests will not be able to register unless the Member has registered first

NOTE: Both Member and Guest will need to have their own MotorsportReg.com profile and will need to register individually.
TRACK ACCESS:
Club membership only grants access to the track on those days designated as a Club day.
If a member is participating with another organization, they MUST register with that organization.
MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING:
All Driver’s Club Members must be in good standing and current on all monthly dues to participate.
If a club member’s payments are past due for 60 days or more, they shall be given notice of delinquency.
If the account remains unpaid for 90 days the club member shall be given notice of suspension of Club privileges.
Suspension will remain in place until balance is paid.
If a balance remains unpaid for 180 days the club member will receive notice of membership termination.
A terminated club member would need to be referred by a current member in good standing and pay any initiation fees to rejoin the club.
Drivers:
- Must be 18+ years old with a valid drivers license.
- Must be “Solo” qualified through FATT or a recognized club/organization, or a competition driver with a current competition license
Helmets: Snell SA2015 or newer rating in good condition and MUST be worn for during "On-Track" activities
Shoes: Closed toe
Vehicles:
- *Street legal production cars that are stock or have limited/basic bolt-on modifications
- Competition prepared cars
- No SUV’s, Minivans, Trucks, Jeeps, or crossovers
- Convertibles
- must be equipped with either factory installed ROLL OVER PROTECTION (may be passive) documented in the owner’s manual or an aftermarket roll bar that meets or exceeds the standards set in the SCCA GCR.
- All convertibles also need to pass the “broomstick test”.
- “Style” bars and removable hard tops are not approved for rollover protection
- Retractable Hard Tops, Targa Tops, T-Tops and Sunroofs must remain in place while on track
NOTE: Mazda MX5/Miata, Honda S2000, and Dodge Viper convertibles (among others) all need 4 point roll bars added.
ALSO NOTE: Convertibles with hard tops (especially Mazda Miata PRHT or RF trim levels) are still convertibles and the rollbar rules still apply because hard tops are typically not structural.
- The passenger’s seat must provide the same level of safety protection as the driver
- This means both driver and passenger must have the same type (not model) of seat and belts
- The sound decibel limit for vehicles is 103.
- TOW HOOKS or PULL LOOPS-FRONT and REAR- FOR VEHICLE RECOVERY ARE REQUIRED
- Must be easily accessible without manipulation of body work
- Factory tow hooks are allowed
- Removable hooks must be installed prior to on track activities
- Car Numbers
- At least 8" tall
- High contrasting
- On both sides of the car
Passengers:
- Must be at least 16+ years old, with valid ID presented at check in after 9am
*passengers 16-17 years old must have a parent or guardian present with them and sign a minor waiver
- The passenger’s seat must provide the same level of safety protection as the driver

*It is the responsibility of the participant to assure safe mechanical condition of the vehicle at all times.
It is strongly recommended that vehicles be thoroughly and routinely inspected by a reputable technician before on track activities
