2023 ARSCCA AutoX Challenge at Road Atlanta

Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta

About this event

AutoX Challenge at Road Atlanta

Join the Atlanta Region SCCA for a fun day of competition in the Main paddock at Road Atlanta. This special event will happen during the SCCA's Summer Sizzle Road Race weekend. A first for the Atlanta region in recent memory, SCCA Road Racing, Time Trials, and Solo programs all taking place at the same facility at the same time.

The Solo/AutoX portion is intended to be a fun event with simplified classes and trophies given out at the end of the day. The course will be laid out in the paddock lot that IMSA teams use during Petit Le Mans, adjacent to the main straight (just inside the track).

When you pre-register you will select a one-hour work window to help run the event (shagging cones, helping tech cars, assisting with waivers, etc.)

Once onsite, you will check in at the Orange SCCA trailer in the Main paddock. When you check in you will provide the class you will be running in (See below, not the same as a regular points event) and what car number you would like to run. You will be given 5 run tokens which can be exchanged individually when you are ready to take a run.

You must work the designated time you picked, before/after that you are free to take your runs whenever you are ready.  You will have the choice of running them all at once or spreading them out throughout the day. That way, if you would like to spectate some of the other SCCA events that are going on or take part in Time Trial and AutoX, you should be able to do both.

This event is open to seasoned competitors and first-timers.
