Race Day: Saturday,Aug 21st, NON POINTS RACE Morning
THIS IS A SEPERATE RACE AND FEES FROM THE POINTS RACE SATURDAY NIGHT.
Saturday August 21 there will be a day race event prior to the scheduled club points race. The day race is a non points non club race. As most people remember from the fall brawl series we put out last season, these were double header events that lasted all day and into the night. Anyone that has a kart to come on out in the morning of the 21st for a fun race to help us dial in our track preparation program so we can get a handle on exactly what it’s going to take to ensure the best experience possible for everyone racing the GN event. Kids are encouraged to show up as well as ANYONE else that has a kart or is thinking about getting into dirt kart racing. We’llhave some cool stuff for all the kids and some surprises in store for the adults as well. Gates will open at 7am hot laps at 9:30am and racing will follow shortly after that.
All Sunset Speedway safety rules will apply. Other than that the class structure will depend on which karts show up for this fun event. If you’re a racer that plans on attending the grand national event in either UAS or one of the 5 support classes this will be your only chance at getting an accurate test n tune opportunity for the daylong event.
- Day race: Gates open 7am: practice 9:30 pit meeting 10:45: racing 11am
- Driver Registration 8- 9am
- No late registration allowed, if you are late you must start in the back for both heats.
- Online pre-registration Recommended. In trying to speed up resigtration, we are using this system. In the future there may be extra charge to register at the track.
PAYMENT
Please make a selection from below. If you would like to pay online make that selection and we will charge your card. If you would like to pay at the track make that selection, a card will still be needed to hold the registration but will not be charged. Your payment will not be processed until race day.

We are attaching the minor release. Please print it out and bring it to the first race to save time in registration. This only needs to be done once a season for drivers and non drivers. The insurance is also requiring any minors who come into the pit area must have the minor release signed by a parent or guardian. This means that if anyone brings any minors that are not their kids, that the parents must sign this in advance. 268168 NKA parental consent form.pdf
