CLASSES, CAR PREPARATION AND MODIFICATIONS
Event classing will follow the national classes for RallyCross, with Stock, Prepared, or Modified preparation categories split up by drivetrain into all wheel drive, front wheel drive, or rear wheel drive, for a total of 9 classes: SA, SF, SR, PA, PF, PR, MA, MF, or MR. The complete rules are available here: https://www.scca.com/pages/rallycross-cars-and-rules
Please note that the national RallyCross Rules prohibit homemade studded tires using bolts or screws, and only allow street-legal studs (Rules 3.3.c.2 and 3.3.d.10).
Competitors must bring a valid drivers license to registration, and a helmet is required before driving on course. Helmets meeting Snell SA2005, M2005, K2005 or newer, SFI standards 31.1, 41.1, 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.2A, British spec BS6658-85 type A/FR, or ECE 22.05 standards are acceptable. Loaner helmets may be available at the event.
Vehicles with a high center of gravity (lifted trucks) may not be allowed to compete. This decision will be made at the discretion of the Event Chairman, Tech Inspector, and Safety Steward.
All competitors are expected to work a corner when not driving, so bring appropriate winter clothing and boots. We will have a short lunch break between runs, but lunch will not be provided. There aren't many quick food options close to the lake, so we recommend you bring your own lunch.
