NEWS NEWS NEWS NEWS
Hello VMF11 Racers, Safety Crew and Family,
We hope you and your family are well, and we look forward to racing at Thompson again this year!
Our event this year will take place starting Thursday, June 20th through Saturday June 22nd. We will start load-in Wednesday after 5:00 p.m. The test day will be run by the track on Thursday, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Registration for the test day is via the track web link or "day of" at the track.
The test day cost will be $TBD for the day. So that is three days on the track for $700 - the best deal out there and lots of track time! Also, by popular demand we will again be doing a dinner in the Speedway Clubhouse with a program that will include driver awards. We are asking upon registation if the driver will be attending the dinner and how many others will join. This will be the same volunteers. Even though you get a free dinner ticket you will be asked if youll be attending. This will ensure an accurate count for planning purposes and making a better dinner program experiance for all while minimizing event costs.
With such low costs, in order for this event to be viable we will need a strong car count. Please join us, spread the word, and encourage others to attend this great "grass roots" event.
And again, our partners at the VSCCA and the entire VRG team would like to thank you for your loyalty. We look forward to seeing you at the track soon and wish all the best to you and your families. I promise we will have some fun in 2024!
Sincerely,
Mark
Mark E. Gunsalus

This exception for allowance of HRG's tire rules is only permitted for HRG members. Except for the HRG feature race, HRG members will be mixed within VRG run groups but will be classed within HRG's Timing and Scoring.
