Welcome to the 2012 Legends of the Autobahn Concours hosted by the Central California Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America and the BMW CCA Festorics Corral at the Laguna Seca Motorsport Reunion.
"Legends of the Autobahn" will begin on Friday, August 17, 2012 and will again feature cars from the BMW, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz clubs. New for 2012 we are pleased to announce the addition of the Audi Club.
The event will again be held at the Rancho Cañada Golf Club located on Carmel Valley Road just East of Hwy 1.
As was done during past year's events, each club will have their own respective parking corral and judging areas and conduct their own judging and awards ceremonies. There will be a "Best of Show" award, People's Choice, and other special awards. All active club members are invited to participate. To register you must be a BMW CCA member.
This year BMW CCA is honoring the legendary CSL of BMW Motorsport fame. We will have special parking for racing or street CSL's and any early CS (coupe) models are welcome.
We have also made some changes to the judging classes. Please review these and select you class accordingly.

Late, online registration will begin on August 1 and close on Aug 12.
If you register after July 31 you will need to check in at 'will call' to pick up you registration materials on the day of the event.
Day of event registration will also be available at "will call".
Corral parking is limited to BMW only.
Concours Guidelines for Legends of the Autobahn (BMW)
- You MUST be present, at your vehicle when it is judged. You may be asked by the judges to open doors, compartments, glove boxes, deck lids etc.
- Please have your vehicle ready for judging. We ask that you have the car closed (windows may be left down a couple of inches for ventilation), hood and trunk shut.
- We DO NOT use Q-tips!
- Please be prepared to answer any questions asked by the judges.
- Mileage and age may be considered in scoring.
- Originality and Authenticity may be used as criteria
- Final determination of cars in specific classes will be left to the discretion of the Judges.
BMW judging classes
| Open classes: | Open to ANY model of BMW and ANY Year |
| Clean Class: | Limited to EXTERIOR of the vehicle only, including wheels and tires. |
| Super Clean Class: | Limited to the EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR AND TRUNK of the vehicle. |
| Concours Class: | The ENTIRE vehicle is judged, including engine compartment and under-carriage, suspension, and drivetrain. |
| Special classes: | There are four classes (original and modified in same class!) |
| All special classes will be judged using criteria listed in the Concours Class above. | |
| 2002 Class: | Open to any "new class" 02 models including, 2002, tii, ti, touring etc. |
| Coupe Class: | Open to any e9 type coupe models including, 2000cs, 3.0cs, csi, csl. |
| M Class: | Open to any "M" car, any model, any year. |
| Vintage Class: | Open to any pre-1965 BMW. |
Friday "The Wedgewood BBQ" Night

This year's CCA's dinner is a more casual affair. Following the Legends of the Autobahn event, enjoy good company and a fantastic barbecue at the mouth of Carmel Valley. Rancho Cañada's gracious clubhouse overlooking the expansive golf course and Santa Lucia mountain vistas will be hosting our Wedgewood BBQ.

The weekend continues with breathtaking views, intoxicating sounds and luscious automobiles. Welcome to the legendary BMW CCA Festorics at the Rolex Monterey Motorosports Reunion! Imagine prime seating and parking and share the roar of yesterday's legends with your fellow club members. It's time to fuel our passions with a BMW CCA gathering at one of the premier vintage-car weekends in the the world.
If you missed the July 31 registration cut off do not dispair as we will continue to make Corral passes available through Sunday, August 12 (1:00pm PST cut off). However passes purchased on August 1st and later will only be available at local "will call" ONLY starting Thursday, August 16th, at 2:00pm in Monterey. More details on the following pages.

You must be an active member in your respective club to attend this event. Please have your respective club information, or membership number(s) available to complete this registration.
Corral parking is limited to BMW only.

Judging Classes: You can have your car judged in one of several classes. M cars (original and modified), 2002/1600's (original and modified), 3.0cs coupes (original and modified) and Vintage classes, (pre-war and post war.)
Open classes for any year/model are also available. Clean class (exterior only), Super Clean class (exterior, interior and trunk), and Concours class (anything goes).

Festorics (August 18-19, 2012)
To attend the Corral at Laguna Seca - you MUST purchase a Corral/Parking Pass. This entitles 1 car to park in the corral, a FREE Festorics shirt, and up to 4 total people entrance into the hospitality tent.
1 pass needed per car. The car must be a BMW or Mini.
You will NEED Race Tickets to get into the track. Buy them directly from Laguna Seca (www.mazdaraceway.com). You need one ticket per person.
