Races & Qualification
2 Races per day
For the 1st race of the day race a driver draws for a specially prepared kart that is performance balanced and then weight is added to the kart as necessary to equalize the field.
The Driver then has a 3 minute session to qualify the kart in a group qualification heat.
Drivers are then gridded as they qualified for a Grand Prix Style start for a 12 minute race
For the 2nd Race the drivers invert karts (1st place driver to last place kart, etc) and qualify again.
Points are scored for finishing position and fast lap of each race.
Drivers may have a substitute driver upon approval or split the seasson with another driver.
Track Rules
Drivers must adhere to instructions from Attendants & track flags at all times as described in the Driver Meeting prior to each race. A helmet is required for all and gloves and neck support (required for JR) are recommended and provided.
Driver Conduct
Drivers will show proper on & off track etiquette or be sanctioned. Intentional bumping will not be tolerated and certainly not to gain or maintain position. This is a family environment and each driver is to treat all attendees with respect. Foul language will not be tolerated. Drivers who have been drinking any alcohol will not be allowed to drive.
Practice
Practice sessions will be held @ 10am on the Saturdays as listed on the website. Open to current and prospective members and are additional cost to league entry fee.
Champions & Prizes
Champions in each division receive a trophy and 1/2 off the next season entry!

ProCup Parental Pledge
Sports are one of the best ways to help children develop physically and emotionally. Youth sports develop life skills, promote a healthy lifestyle, and increase self-esteem.
However, according to a Harris Interactive Youth Study (July 2004), as many as 50% of youth will quit organized sports by age 12 because of too much pressure and competition. In this study, key reasons why kids stopped participating included the following: 43% of the youth athletes revealed they stopped having fun and 27% felt like they weren’t good enough to play.
Therefore, in an effort to promote a positive environment and healthy competition, ProCup Karting (PCK) requires that every parent agrees to the Parental Pledge. It states the following:
“I, the parent or guardian of a ProCup Karting participant, agree that the most important outcome of any race is for my child to have fun, learn how to race, & compete. My child needs my approval and support, regardless of what happens in the race.
I will refrain from the use of negative or derogatory language aimed at the Officials, the Staff, my child, other drivers, or their family. I will encourage my child and all others in the event. I will do my best to model the sportsmanship-like behavior I wish my child to adopt, and to support the official in making this the best possible experience for my child.”
